INTO San Diego and INTO Giving are proud to announce support for the Center for Community Solutions’ (CCS) work providing anti-sexual assault training to San Diego college students and to support victims of sexual assault.

INTO Giving is donating $9,000 to CCS, and volunteering through the Center is available to the INTO San Diego team.

Last year alone, CCS worked with more than 17,000 people, providing support to victims of sexual assault as well as prevention training at local San Diego universities.

More than 1-in-5 of US university students, girls and boys alike, will tragically experience sexual assault while at college. Some estimates rate it significantly higher, at 1-in-3.

CCS operates domestic violence shelters and the only rape crisis center in the city of San Diego, along with a countywide 24-hour bilingual crisis helpline.

They provide workshops and training to college athletes, fraternities, sororities, all types of clubs and campus organizations to educate students on all aspects of sexual assault, sexual violence, how to avoid it, and how to not inflict it upon someone.
